This Privacy Policy explains how the MyVA application, developed by ProyectoNube, collects, uses, and protects user information. By using MyVA, you agree to the practices described below.

If you activate the Automatic Odometer, the app may access background location solely to estimate vehicle mileage. Data is used locally to update your service history and to notify you when maintenance is approaching. Location data is not shared with third parties and is not used for advertising purposes. You can enable/disable this feature and permissions at any time from your system settings and within the app.
MyVA offers free features and an optional Premium subscription via in-app purchases. We do not store payment card data. Billing and subscription management are handled by the platform provider:
We use Expo and Apple/Google notification services to deliver notifications. The optional AI assistant uses OpenAI as described in section 8. We do not sell data or use advertising identifiers to track users across apps.
With your explicit consent, MyVA may send limited interaction events to our own servers, such as app opens, vehicle or service creation, assistant usage, Premium screen views, and the general outcome of a purchase. A protected random installation identifier is stored on the device and retained by the server only as a hash.
These statistics do not include license plates, location, make/model, mileage, costs, email, entered text, links, or document contents. They are not combined with third-party data or used for advertising. You may accept, decline, or change this choice in Settings. Disabling it deletes the pending queue. Received events are initially retained for no more than 395 days.
MyVA 1.3.3 uses Google Analytics for Firebase on Android and iOS to measure installations, sessions, app interactions and in-app purchases. Basic automatic measurement starts when the app is first opened, before you choose whether to share additional usage statistics. You can disable future Analytics collection by turning off “Share anonymous statistics” in Settings. Additional product events and MyVA's explicit purchase-measurement calls require your acceptance. The SDK can also record automatic purchase and subscription events while basic collection is enabled.
Firebase uses an app-instance identifier and technical information about the app, device and operating system. It derives approximate country, region or city from the connection IP address. Purchase events can include the subscription product, transaction identifier, amount and currency. Events associated with an installation are pseudonymous; they are not all fully anonymous. MyVA does not send your email, license plate, vehicle details, precise GPS coordinates, maintenance notes, service costs or document links to Firebase Analytics.
These measurements help us understand app usage and evaluate acquisition campaigns through the linked Google Ads account. This build disables advertising identifiers (including IDFA and IDFV on iOS), advertising storage, advertising user-data consent and ad personalization. We do not enable cross-app personalized advertising or fingerprinting. The consented statistics sent to our own server in section 4.1 remain separate from Firebase and from financial reports supplied by the stores.
Google processes Analytics data under its service terms and configured retention settings. Turning collection off stops future measurement; it does not automatically erase previously received data. We employ reasonable safeguards to protect your information. We do not sell your data. We share necessary data with the service providers described in this policy and when required by law.
Data created without linking an account is stored locally and is normally removed when the app is uninstalled. If you voluntarily link an email address, vehicles, services, and preferences needed for synchronization and recovery are also stored on our servers and are not automatically deleted when the app is uninstalled. You may request deletion of your personal data by emailing info@proyectonube.com.
We may update this policy. Any material changes will be communicated within the app or on this page.
MyVA includes an optional AI-based assistant that generates personalized maintenance recommendations using a language model provided by OpenAI. Suggestions are based solely on the technical data you provide (e.g., service history, dates, mileage). The AI does not access sensitive device data. Recommendations are informational and do not replace professional diagnosis. You can disable this feature in the app settings.
